Drainage mat for cheese is used in the process of cheese making during pressing of cheese with separation of excess moisture; drying cheese; cheese extracts. When using it, whey retention and blocking of the lower part of the cheese head are excluded - an even distribution of the density of the future cheese in the pressed mass is achieved.
The mat is suitable for all types of cheeses, but it is especially important in the recipe for making camambera and other cheeses by splashing (through it excess moisture is removed from the surface of the head and mold is formed more evenly).
Food grade HDPE material. Dimensions 200 mm * 200 mm, thickness 1.5 mm, height 2.4 mm. Manufactured in Ukraine.
